sahm, official diet dr pepper taster, short order cook & maid. :)

> 3. Do you have a spouse children..pets?

i'm married to my husband mike and we have to beautiful children. our

to my kindness and feedings.

> 4. Do you have a blog that you regularly post on? If so, what is the link.

you can find more of my work and read the daily blabberings of my life on
my blog : http://k8tykat.typepad.com

>
> 5. How long have you been scrapbooking?

i've been a paper crafter for years, but entered the world of scrapbooking
about a year and a half ago and i've never looked back. who could when
there's all of this luscious print and pattern to adore.

> 6. Where do you find your inspiration for layouts?

mostly from craft blogs and magazines, as well as home decor sites like
decor 8 and print & pattern. but i also use vintage elements on almost
everything so often it's a special piece i've found that starts a project.

> 7. What is your ¡°must-have¡± item on a layout (other than the
> necessities)?

right now it's vintage fabric.

>
> 8. What would you say your scrapping style is? What is your favorite
> technique?

oh my, i don't really like labeling what i do, but vintage eclectic is
probably the closet thing i could label myself with. the problem with
labeling is that you go through phases, and i think my "style" changes as
i am inspired. sometimes it's more like collage, sometimes it's graphic,
depends on what i put together.

> 9. Can you describe your scrapping process?

honestly, most of the time i just feel an urge to make something. i grab
some supplies and some pictures and just create. but there are times when
a specific memory or a something i've been processing hits me and i need
to get it out. right now.

> 10. Where can we see more of your work (online galleries, etc.)

right now i post all of my work on my blog and in my flickr gallery :

Our challenge for you this time around is to ask someone in your family or someone close to you what they would do if they had a Million dollars. Scrap their answers. Try to include a pic of the person. The second part of your challenge is to use a pen/pin anywhere on your page. You could use a pen for your journaling or a stick pin on the page. Here are our pages.

défi #17

Allô! We hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday! We have a very fun challenge for ya and one very inspirational Guest Mojo girl. So lets get down to it. Elsie has always been my inspiration. When I first seen her layouts in CK they were so different from the norm. They pushed boundaries and made you crave art. She brought a whole new meaning to scrapbooking. When I started this blog I knew that someday I would love to have her as a guest. I began to think of a challenge based on this lovely lady. Something she would have fun with. The first thing that came to my mind was The band called The Ditty Bops and the song Wishful thinking. She has wonderful taste in music and it's because of her I found this ubber awesome band. I couldn’t think of a more perfect challenge. I told her the challenge and asked if she would like to play. She said yes! YAY!

Now I’m asking you all if you would like to play along with us.. What you need to do is pick a Ditty Bops song (we picked wishful thinking)(lyrics here) and use the lyrics somewhere some how on the page. The second part of your challenge is of course doodle. Has Elsie written all over it right?

Not to mention we have a kick butt prize to give away brought to you by QTEA KITS! Danielle put together a special Elsie inspired kit just for you Mojo players! How wicked is that?!?

F-a-b-u-l-o-u-s!

We can not forget the awesome pages our dt and Guest have come up with!

Wonderful!

This post is simply wonderful. We hope you all had a nice little break. We missed you! Just know we had something wonderful planned for you and that wonderful is our lovely guest Mojo Girl! I think you all will think so too.

Yep that's right...The one...The only...Elsie Flannigan! We are so honored to have her as a Mojo girl. She truly is fabulous and just in case you didn't know everything about her, here is her interview!

2. What is your Day job?
Designing is the Love, Elsie line is my full time job. I love working from home. I like to work odd hours so it is great!

3. Do you have a spouse children..pets?
Haha... I don't have any of those. Just lots of friends and a wonderful family! :)

4. Do you have a blog that you regularly post on? If so, what is the link.
Yes. I keep a daily blog... www.abeautifulmess.typepad.com

5. How long have you been scrapbooking?
I've been scrapbooking for about 4 years. I've been doing it as my job now for 3 of those years. It's such a huge part of my life now that it's hard to imagine life without it!

6. Where do you find your inspiration for layouts?
I get inspired by art, music, film and fashion. Lately, it's primarily music (song lyrics) that makes me want to start a new layout.

7. What is your must-have item on a layout (other than the necessities)?
Well, I like to use buttons and hand stitching. I like quirky found objects and I loooove using my typewriter!

8. What would you say your scrapping style is? What is your favorite technique?
My style has changed over the years, but I would say that it is eclectic and very handmade looking. I like it a little bit messy and rough around the edges.
My favorite technique is probably stitching or painting.

9. Can you describe your scrapping process?
Hm... I usually adhere my photos first and work around them. I add lots of texture until it feels done to me. I add journaling last, usually on strips of paper.

10. Where can we see more of your work (online galleries, etc.)
